What is 98.5 Virgin Radio? 

98.5 Virgin Radio (CIBK-FM) is Calgary’s Number One Hit Music Station. We play a ton of hit music, we talk all things entertainment, and we’re all about local #YYC! 

Why are you in radio broadcasting?

After finishing a Journalism program at Seneca at York University, I interned at 104.5 CHUM FM in Toronto and immediately fell in love with morning radio. Radio broadcasting brings all people together, it highlights our similarities, and it creates community. I laugh every single day, how can I complain?

How long have you been living in Calgary?

It will be three months on October 1, 2021. 

Why do you think Virgin Radio is the best?

Virgin Radio offers the best in hit music, entertainment, contesting, and local news. We’ve got Tyler, Danaye, and Fuzzy waking you up in the morning with so many laughs, I keep you moving through that second cup of coffee and we have the trendiest drive team, Kylee and Andrew!
